Story : Father & Son Bond in Animal Kaiser
Many a times at the arcade , we always notice that Father and Son were sitting @ the machine together playing Animal Kaiser. Sometimes, the Daddy will just stand a side and watch the little one play ...What makes a Audlt want to get involved with Animal Kaiser ? This is a game design for small age boys/ kids

Though my boy is 5-ys old .... I still carry him. No one in the family carry him anymore, except me. He’s too heavy for the old folks and my wife. But not for me ......
My wife asked me why still carry him. My response - if i can carry him another year, i will carry him one more year.
Next year and he’s in K2 ... no more carry. Hold hands .... another 4-5 yrs no more hold hands .......

I only have a 5 yr old son. I spoil and pamper him a whole lot cos when i was young i had quite a deprived childhood so i do not want my son to experience my path. I jus want both of us to be as close as possible in this short span of 3-4yrs after that i think their friends will be closer than us parents

I really hope every children can win the champion once ... just once would make their day. But that is never possible. So as parents, we have to explain and continue to encourage them
Morals, integrity and family bonding must start from a young age.
Believe me, they will remember.

Even though i did not enjoy it as much as he does, it is that bonding that stays with me.

Real Encounter Story from Blog Master :
One afternoon time around 1600hrs+ , i walked into Star Factory (Sembawang , Sun Plaza)I notice a Man in his late 40s. what so special about this man ? I do not know him either ~ he's just a stranger to me but his action touches my heart...
There are total 3 Animal Kaiser @ the arcade place. 2 machines was place side by side and the other one was placed at quite a distance away from others.
This is what he do :
This Father had put in coins token into the 2 machines which is side by side and keep presing the yellow/Green button...walking from 1 machine to the other.
He is not interested with the game play animation...only trying to keep going thru' the whole process just to get the cards ! I found out that he is collecting cards for both his son and daughter. So , to save time...he just place 3-5 credits into machines and just anyhow press the buttons so that the game can end.
He doesn't know about the game much. I give this uncle a good tips that he should choose STRONG option so that the game can end faster. Then he also wasted alot of time aiming at the button when he looking at the scrollng-card at end of each game. I told him that it doesn't matter, just need to press the button (no need wait / or aim) as the card deck will drop accordingly . All these tips help him save abit of time though
During that time , there is not much other players ~ so the father play there for about 0.5hrs spending about $20-$30 just to get the card..to bring home ...to pass them to his son and daughter and share their joy. This is what Father Love is all about.

They have landed to our shore.... The Japanese are here to sell CHEAP CHEAP Jap card for every Animal Kaiser fan. This is indeed a nightmare for most local Seller as not many of them can match Mr.Japan's fantastic price. Some believe that he got secret partner in Singapore while others say that he work alone.
All these doesn't matter as long as the pricing is CHEAP and quality of card is GOOD.
The shipping cost (fr0m Japan?) is just S$6.99 ...wow..Unbelieveable rate for oversea shipping chargs. this is the cost of making 1 to 3 card purchase.
The shipment is FREE if you bought 4 or more listing ~~!!!!
Buy at your own risk as this Japan Seller do not make sure whether item sold is useable on our local machine.

Wow! But why some cards so expensive?
1. Buyers import in the cards with different sources.
2. Shipping charges varies.
3. Sourcing the cards sometimes is a big headache for them.
4. Middleman commission.
5. Covering cost for the bundle of good and bad cards.
6. Fighting bids for cards online.
Above are the few reasons i see that makes Japanese cards pricing on the high side.
Sellers gets it through different sources in Japan:
(1) Either by some payment gateway through japan yahoo or other online store.
(2) Some has friends to get the cards for them from Tokyo, Osaka, etc.
(3 Some of u ordered in bundle and the cost is reduced down further.
In such, the cost of the cards are not the same at all and this makes it hard to give a standardise price tag on it.
There are also hidden cost like banks fee, domestic delivery charge (send to osaka), commission + oversea postage charge !and not forgeting the 3.9% paypal charges as well as credit card charges....(Card sellers will know all these facts)
For normal cards in Ver 8/9( unplayable ) , the market is flooded as someone already sold 1000 or 2000 of them at a very cheap price to capture immediate profits. So no point to import them now.Its hard to sell them at high price now
For playable normal cards, the market is still there but not many animals card can be played. The profits are low of course.
Basically, there is nothing to worry about the pricing.
The law of demand and supply will be alway there as a guide when selling.
Why sell high?
Cards are hard to get or find.
Sell Low cos there is plenty of card supply around

Animal Kaiser's Arcade System Board
An arcade system board is a dedicated computer system created for the purpose of running video arcade games. Arcade system boards typically consist of a main system board with any number of supporting boards
The earliest non-microprocessor based arcade system boards were designed around codeless state machine computers with the main board and any support boards consisting of discrete logic circuits comprising each element of the game itself.
The next generation of arcade system boards, with the inclusion of microprocessor based technology, incorporated the game program code directly on the main system board via game code stored in ROM chips mounted on the main board.
Later arcade system boards, including the DECO Cassette System, SNK's Neo-Geo, Capcom's CPS-2, and Sega's NAOMI, separated the system board from the game program itself, akin to a home video game console and cartridge.
This method benefitted both manufacturers and arcade game owners. Once the system board was purchased, the owner could switch out the games at a fraction of the price and with less effort, and the manufacturers could produce fewer of the costly system boards and more of the less-costly games.
