Version 3 card price market adjustment
We are now into the 4th week since Version 3 launch in Singapore
Basically ,most of the price had drop and it may be a good time to buy these cards now. So , why are you still waiting ?
Here is the version 3 card price reference :
Bronze : $5 - $7
Silver : $15 - $25*
(previous put $20 is a typo , had change to $25)
Gold : $35 - $45
~ exception for Gorilla which is $50 - $60
Special Ops Leo : $80- $110
Normal card Full set (animal/Strong/Miracle) : $20

A Special Present from Animal Kaiser
Last week, IAHGames received an unusual request. The mother of a very young Animal Kaiser fan contacted us and requested for an Animal Kaiser poster. It was to be a birthday present for her son. So we thought: here’s a story to tell!
Daphne is the doting mother of AK player Jonah, who is only 3 years old! She lets us in on the current AK craze and their family’s AK playing habits…
What motivated you to ask for a present for your son?
I knew that Jonah will definitely be happy with any AK merchandise. Thanks for the poster! It’s proudly hanging in his room now.
How did your family get into AK?
My son LOVES AK. He used to just stop and watch the older kids play the game, and would get really excited about all the animals. One day I decided to let him try to play it and he's been hooked since. And since he loves it so much, naturally I have to learn the game so I can help him play.
It's quite simple… just press the green button followed by the yellow button. I try to help him strategize which cards to combine and use.
Are you an avid collector of AK cards too, like most die-hard players?
We started out not too long ago – just January this year. So far we have around 100 cards, from Versions 2 and 3.
What do you all like about AK?
My son likes collecting all the cards, and he gets really excited when he adds a new card to his collection. And I just like seeing my son happy :)
In your view, why has AK become such a big hit in this region?
I think the kids like the thrill of collecting the cards, the anticipation of getting one of the bronze/silver/gold cards, and the satisfaction of completing the set. It’s essentially a very good card game, but instead of dueling cards on a table, you use a cool machine with fantastic visuals.
Do you get strange stares or comments from playing AK? After all it’s a game for kids.
No! Many parents bring their children to play on the AK game machines. Some parents simply leave their children there with a bag-full of coins. Others sit and play with their kids. But sometimes people get overboard due to their passion for AK, which leads to ugly, aggressive behaviour like hogging the machines or queue-cutting…
It's a matter of discipline. I only let my son play AK on the weekends and only a few games (3-5). It's just a fun pastime, and shouldn't compromise children's schoolwork or behaviour. Yes, Jonah wants to play everyday, but I have to set limits. The same thing applies to any pastime or hobby.
Do you use your son’s interest in AK to educate him?
Yes! He can recognize the animals by their names and learn some of the animals’ characteristics. It helps that the AK animals behave like their real counterparts. So Jonah is actually learning about real animals!

Last Battle for Champion Lion

Is Animal Kaiser dying off @ Japan ?
~ Bob, a very devoted animal kaiser card collecter went to Japan with his family mentioned that there is no crowd at all , unlike Singapore where audits/kids were fighting or argue over GOLD cards.
This is another interesting oberservation he notice when he was @ Japan :
"when u go jap,k when u playing AK got small boy/girl want play must let them play or else their parent call staff"

To confirm that Japan is "NOT so HOT & CARAZY" about Animal kaiser, i talked to 2 of our animal kaiser uncle fans.1 of them had went to Japan during his business trip and another uncle had friend in Japan who help him bring in Japan cards. Both agree that that the craze is not as hot in Japan compare to Singapore.
Despite all the BAD NEWS....someone shed a light of HOPE ...Maybe its not end of the world yet...We hope AK can continue until version 100? Long Live Animal Kaiser spirit !!

ask youself the basic reason why you play AK? if you need more than a minute to answer ... you should quit. You just follow the trend blindly .... and now you open your eyes widely ... AK is not for you.
for me ..... very simply .... yes you may sleep, work and think AK .... how to have strong combo ... testing your techniques and go to real battle with a lion heart and be a good sport ....
NOT GETTING ALL THE GOLD CARDS ..... and CERTAINLY NOT GO FISHING ......

Story : Fishing for Silver
Yesterday , I was at the arcade trying to fish some Silver or even Gold. Check the situation....Gold had all been taken...left only silver...but have to wait for some time. I'm aiming @ a silver card - Crushing Moon as i don't have this card yet since its just my 3rd day playing version 3. Very less customer , so noone play @ machine ...Crushing Moon is still long way to go...maybe have to wait tomorrow...but hey, upon checking the sequence, another 2 machines is going to have silver coming soon..maybe 1 hours time ?
I don't want to waste time rush to another nearby arcade to look see. Wow...no customer at all ! I get to know its deck B but bald eagle had already been taken..there is Crushing Moon along the deck...coming SOON...its the number #9 card. First 8 are all normal card. I think to myself " 9 x $2 = $18 ..wow...just wait people play 1st lah...save $$" So , i just wait there
5 minutes later, 1 big family come along with a small boy, there is grandpa, granma and his mother. Both the grandparents try their luck @ the sweet catching machine , while the mother play animla kaiser with her boy , I go queue behind him
"haha . ...the most he play is few games...then i pay less to take the silver crusging moon loh.." I thinking to myself this evil scheme. After playing for 2 games ,another small boy come along and want to play animal kaiser.
I ask this boy " How many games you want play ?"
"Three" ..he reply show a three with his fingers
"haha...save $6....again..lala...." my evil mind thinking within myself
"ok , boy , uncle let you play 1st for 3 games after that boy ok ?" i told him
"Ok"..he was happy
Time passed...the 1st boy still playing....its already 3rd game ..he play as if he never wants to stop. I become panic...i start to pretend and talk to the 2nd boy who is still queueing up....asking him to wait patiently , his turn is coming soon...etc
The 1st boy mother heard and smile, saying that she not going to play very long. Then she swap the Timezone card 3 more times...that means they will play up to 6 games ...and with the 2nd boy 's 3 games....oh my god....there goes my crushing moon ! The 2nd boy will get this silver on his 3rd and last game.
Since i had promise him 3 games ,i just let him play and i go off quietly...
I wanted to bang my head to the wall...beacause only then i realise that this is timezone ...its 9 more cards ...so its only $9 to get that silver instead of $18 !! (my card was TOP up during the $50 to $50 promotion) ..so every game is half price !
Why i so blur still want to wait ??? Should have go play straight for the 9 games.
Quickly go back to the previous arcade , go to the 1st machine ...lucky...manage to grab the silver Swift blow card, Go to the other machine where silver (Black hole) is going to drop by 3 cards... A father & son was playing together and i saw the father put in 2 more credits.... there goes my silver blackhole again...*cry*
Go home take rest...
The next morning go back to the arcade again for the Crushing moon silver, it should be ready by now. Try out 1 card,,,check sequence....13 more card to get crushing moon ...wow !! this time no more half price as i'm @ Star factory using token...wait for 0.5hrs...still no customer....feeling frustated, go change coin token and wacked all 13....in the end spend $26 to get Silver crushing moon !
$9 for a crushing moon....don't want quicklygrab...end up fly away ...then now had to use $26 (3 times !!) to get the same card ...i am feeling very STUPID of myself...for all these hunting silver adventure...haha

Story : 1st come 1st serve ????
This story happens to myself where a so call "Friend" turn into enemy ! WTF
Last night, arcade was crowded with people , there are boys/girls playing @ the animal kaiser machines with their parents. I was there too and i notice among the crowd , there were 3 "expert" regulars fisherman /fisherwoman. 2 uncles and 1 big sister (she don't like people to call her aunty...) Both the uncles (Mr. N & Mr. G) i also known them and can consider as friends. All of them monitoring the card moments...all aiming for GOLD...but arcade is closing liao...so no more time to fish. We know that all 3 machines going to drop GOLD very soon...in evening time
Next day , i went to arcade to follow up @ evening time. All the fisherman/woman were not there. So, i grab a gold card(Bald eagle) from 1 machine. Then i went to the 2nd machine going for my 2nd gold. Take note that this is only my 2nd day of playing version 3...so i'm excited to get my 1st set completed...hence , i need the 4 Golds asap.(never think of SOL yet)
Left few credits before GWS drop, then suddenly Mr.G comeby and ask me update. Since he is friend, i told him bald eagle taken and now going for shark. He jsut stand behind me. The other machine had a boy playing...and another GOLD is coming soon...yes...real soon...but that boy occupy there. That boy do not know that GOLD is coming and he just play blindly...
Mr.G say that he already got few Gold cards and he even had Special Ops Leo , he had not organise them yet so don't know how many complete set..wow! he must have fish alot over past 2 weeks...got many rare cards...unlike me, just start playing ver 3
only..haha
My credits finished , 2nd GOLD obtained , that little boy also finished his game and he got no more coins, so he left his seat. At that instant , nobody else take that empty seat after boy left. Don't know where Mr.G go where...don't care ...faster jump seat to take over this 3rd machine...here i come ...for my 3rd gold of the day.
Suddenly, heard a angry voice from behind saying " wow...not gentleman leh...act like aunty ..." Its comment from Mr.G ! He is not happy that i take the seat before he come and give such nasty indicating that i'm greedy and kiasu like those aunty !
Oh...just now he went away to change $50 tokens ..
WTF ! I regards him as friend and this is how he treat me ?? I thought its 1st come 1st serve ?? Mr.G did not tell me he want to play this machine , he did not even tell the small boy that he will be next playing ...there is no communication to "BOOK" reserve the place next in queue...and being fast to get the place....i ganna the scolding for nothing !
"ok...you no gentleman , next time i don't give chance..." Mr.G mummied to himself but loud enough for us to hear despite the noisy environment.
I told him politely that this is my 3rd gold for version 3 ....why he wants to fight over this place where he himself already got so many GOLD rare ? Greed Over-ride sound mind ??
"Later i treat you for coffee, don't angry loh" , i say in a soft tone trying to calm him down as i feel that there is nothing wrong for me being there 1st ! I may have let him take the place if he told me earlier that he's next in place for that machine ! Who can read his mind ! I did ask the arcade staff how will they resort to customer's argument over who play 1st , the answer is base on 1st come 1st serve
"I wouldn't dare deserve to accept your coffee" He replied in dialect in a rude manner
Recalling few months ago....during version 2 launch....early 2nd week
MrG just return from his family holiday to korea and he had no idea how to fish for the new version 2. That time i had the sequence listing and gladly share with him everything. I treat him as a friend. Even shown to him the machine " Deck A - red scorpion" Mr.G want to play ...i let him since this is his very 1st Gold for ver 2.
I know the next machine also going to have red scorpion coming soon.(later part of the day) Before i know it , Mr. G was at that machine fishing for the Gold as he aleady got all my sequence information for FREE. I question him....how can he take red scorpion again after taking the 1st one earlier , he mention he wants to keep 2 set. Never mind, the 3rd machine going to drop red scorpion the next day around 4pm.
I told Mr. G that i am going for that GOLD next day , since now he already got 2 red scorpion.
So next day after work, i quickly rush over and was surprise to see Mr.G playing that machine going to fish red scorpion !! This time cannot tahan, go question him and he told me that this gold is for his nephew !!
since i treat him as my friend, i also don't want to quarrel ...because we still obey the basic rules : 1st come 1st serve. He get there 1st ,so he win.
I regret for helping him by giving him the sequence free and yet now he is so ungrateful. He only know how to take but do not want share. When version 2 sequence changes during the 2nd shipment lots 2 months later, i am sad and yet Happy. Sad is that its really not easy to have those sequence ...and now suddenly change....happy is that at least now Mr.G cannot enjoy his free luch anymore...go earn yourself !
Back to present...
"People make lots of new friends from playing animal kaisers...but unlike you ...making more enemy !" Mr.G comment straight to me not showing any respect. I bear with the insult and does not quarrel with him @ the arcade place. I even offer him to sit down and play the machine...but he refuse. I sit down with my bagful loads of tokens and sapu another silver swift blow strong card before i left the arcade. It's Mr.G loss for not taking my offer for this card (why should i tell you what card is coming next ...i regret telling him that i got the 2 gold ..i am so stupid for trusting a wrong man)
I know he is a teacher in one of the good school. Yes , he look gentle and appear to be a nice guy wearing spec...but look can be deceving...all the behavouir come from the urgly heart , for betraying his friend again and again. I regrets knowing this guy and i regrets selling him a friendship special price all the nice promotion cards. I really regrets giving him the sequnce where he does not even appreciate it. Mr. G, i know you are reading my blog , but sorry to say, we are no longer friend. Enough is enough , don't keep taking me as a FOOL , we do not owe you anything for such a bad heart. Former acarde aunty staffs (who had resigned) once reminded me to be careful mixing with you as they mention you got a Good look but a BAD heart. I do not understand that time what you have done, but now i fully understand the meaning
Animal kaiser is a fun game for the family , not for fighting/scolding over cards due to human greed , we really can observe different type of human behaviours over the card collection process. This incident made me wiser ...to open my eye wider...for choosing a trueful friendship that can last. ...i still have many friends get to known from animal kaiser gaming. Peace off !
Note: Please do not ask me who is this Mr.G. I know his full name , which school he teaching , which block (sembawang) he stay and even have his contact number (HP). But , for the very last respect ...i shall not disclose them here ,just wanna share the story for awareness only. Thank you for taking your precious time reading my bad experience, its indeed a great lesson for learning human behaviour !

This incident made me wiser ...to open my eye wider...for choosing a trueful friendship that can last. ...i still have many friends get to known from animal kaiser gaming. Peace off !

But , for the very last respect ...i shall not disclose them here ,just wanna share the story for awareness only. Story : Beginner luck ~
2 weeks had passed since Version 3 launch and believe it or not ...our family had not play even a single version 3 game. The main reason is let all the fisherman/fisherwoman fight/slaughter among themselves 1st duing the 1st 2 weeks...we will avoid their rare card hunting battle fighting...
So yesterday got some spare time with my 2 boys , bring them down to the arcade.
Elder son (kelvin) take 1 machine and younger brother (Benson) take another machine. Both of them so long did not play AK , so they are excited to challenge the new siefried boss.There is no other customers that time.
I look @ the version 2 machine , thinking to myself whether to try $1 tikam my luck? ...but in the end , only thoughts but no action.
After awhile , a mother come along and bring her 2 boys. Big boy quickly run to the 3rd machine to play version 3. Left the small boy sitting at the last machine that offer version 2 (clear stock , $1 per game).
Note : there are 3 machines with ver 3 and a 4th one is @ ver 2
I start talking to the mother while watching the boys playing the games. The mother say that her 2 boys seldom play and they are just beginners ...not so regular coming to arcade. I reminded the mother that her small boy is playing at Version 2 which is a old version. Mother ask young son...and small boy told her , "never mind..mummy...its ok" and he continue playing
1st card from version 2 dropped out...small boy took it out from slot , turn it over....i nearly fainted....its a GOLD bengal tiger !!! OMG
He was so happy~
My elder son just finished his 1st game and took a normal card (Golden eagle). I tell him to come over to play together with Benson for 2 players so that the small boy can go play Version 3.
Samll boy & mother thanks us and he going over to take kelvin's place . He played 1 game....game ended...a red card drop out.. its.an animal card ...he turn it over...i saw his card...again..this time almost fainted once more...its a SILVER HIPPO LARRY !
Kelvin felt the pinch of pain in his heart , "Daddy , we should play 1 more just now...you see...its silver card"
I was speechless ...haha ....had forget to check the sequence before ask him go over to his brother's machine ...* nearly go bang my head to the wall* ...lol
In the end, we got a bronze giant panda and a silver black hole before we left the arcade to go home.
That small boy really got beginner's luck or maybe i'm just unlucky ?
