In KL, the Animal Kaiser machines have been updated to Evolution ver.1 but in Ipoh, the machines are still at ver.6.

Behind The Pretty Face….
She may look girlish, is soft-spoken, speaks politely to her teachers and to the elders, demure and very pretty but this girl likes nothing girlish - no Hello Kitty or Princess, no pink, no frills, no sexy frocks, no pretty sandals, NO! She is the exact opposite of Sherilyn. What she likes are toys for boys, sigh!
Her latest craze, besides Bey Blade is Animal Kaiser cards, where each card has a picture of an ugly creature or animal. And each creature is given a rating. The higher the rating, the more powerful the creature / card is. And she is besotted with these cards, which she can buy from those small kiosks at shopping malls and from indoor theme parks. Daddy the ever yes-man and indulgent daddy bought them for her. She also likes playing the game ‘Plants vs. Zombies’ on the laptop *double sigh*!! My blogger friend recently told me that her 8yo boy likes girl’s stuff and asked for pink tees and a Barbie birthday cake! Is this normal for kids of this age to be ‘neither here nor there’?? I hope she will get over this tomboy phase soon!

Bye Bye Angry Birds, Welcome Smurfs and Animal Kaiser!
I think I can say good bye to Angry Birds and start to welcome yet another craze in my home. Just like any other kids, my girls are riding in the Smurfs band wagon now but their obsession is not as bad as Angry Birds. Good ol’ sporting granny has bought them each a nice Smurfs tee when she came to visit us last week.
The Smurfs heat ain’t that hot anyway. I can feel that it is slowly waning too. Alycia’s biggest obsession now is Animal Kaiser cards as most of her school classmates and tuition class mates are hardcore fans of Animal Kaiser. Her obsession is driving me nuts as I don’t like to see my almost 8-year old daughter drawing ugly creatures during her free time. She told me yesterday that one of her good friend from school (a boy) wants to visit her to exchange Animal Kaiser cards *rolling eyeballs*!

Got disqualified from ak tournament at AMK hub
Ytd morning, left house at 10.30am. Den on the way amk hub, traffic jam. Den wan to park inside amk hub carpark, oso jam. Reach at zone x at 11.05am. They disqualified me. Wtf ?!! Y I always first one to play ?? Is it someone set me up ?? I told the staff that caught in traffic jam, they sill so I got disqualified from being late.
Wtf ? I can control traffic isit ??? My fault ah ??? And y I first one play ??? Think the staff purposely put me the first one. I wrote a letter of complain to them. And here is their reply is must reach before 15min. The traffic cause the whole thing. Den nvm. Afternoon went to beyblade finals, lost in first round again. Today is the worst day of my life.
Den when we registered for the tournament they told us to give them their contact number. They should at least call me to confirm where am I. If I’m nearby already den they could jus start the other matches first. Or else get number for fk ?
i try to be there early but traffic jam how control leh??? don tell me i call president come and create one pathway for me to go there smoothly. LOL

i don’t think this is the 1st time you taking part in the tournament right ... they will draw lots, everyone will take turn, when all have their lots drawn, the last piece will be yours
you should have come out early, i will try to reach there around 10.30am or earlier and not come out of the house at 10.30am ...just my opinion

You everytime late for tournament at amk la.....i was there 3 weeks, ricky help u to delay abit if not you get disqualified also ma. Next time leave you home abit earlier lor.

We started the tournament at 11.05 actually.. Plus we waited a while.. Firstly the FAQ got state all the terms that u have to be early..
Don’t believe u can ask Sylvest.. All the contestants reached b4 11 n pickthe lots.. Another guy was already in Zone X earlier than u but he wasnt there when the judge called for him.. Therefore a walkover too.. He was in Zone X looking at other games when we all gathered to start the tournament.. Isn’t that more heartache?

Actually solution is so simple. dumb organisers should just do this and all problems solve. example tournament start at 11am. all contestants who are around in pairs start first put those absent at the last to start match.
when all matches have finish, if they not here by then, then is walkover.
SO SIMPLE SOLUTION ALSO DUNNO. STILL WANT TO ORGANISE TOURNY..

Meet up Salt ,from Indonesia Jakarta
Sunday evening time...I went to Mandarin Hotel , Orchid to meet up this indonesian buyer. even went up to storey 14 where he stays as we could sit at the 2 big chair to chit chat about AK and future business dealing.. He is going back to indonesia @ 1100hrs flight the next day

I am the very last group of Seller.. meeting him as he has already met up with so many different sellers last few days...where he had already bought 5 champ bengal tiger and 3 sets of Champions combo (eagle+GWS + gorilla)...and he spent about SGD$1000 on AK stuffs ...he even had to ask another friend to atm transfer me some $$ as he had run out of SING dollars cash on last day...heehee... will be coordinating with Salt & his friend (chris) for future dealing ...
We had provide him some deck boxes for packing all his purchase//lol
Most imporatant , we also provided him lots of Evo 2 cardlist ...to bring home.
Salt is shy to take photograph but we had a good time discussing about the animal kaiser market
Salt is so please with our customer service that he sms me at around 0130hrs ( 1.30 am past mid-night) to have a last minute order !! too bad...i did not notice it as i was zzzz until i wake up @ 1030hrs next day ...but it was already too late to react ...he should be at the airport by now..haha...sms him and wish him have a safe trip home.
so far , we had meet up AK fans from Hong Kong , Philliphines and Indonesia. Currently also in -process of contacting another AK fan from Malsyia who is coming down to Singapore end of the year ...more business dealing on the way !
After the happy dealing , our family went to eat at Chatterbox restaurant ...Singapore's most expensive Chicken rice !
Each set of chick rice is $27
Each drink is $9 !!
Spring roll (6 pcs) @ $12
Satey ( 6 pcs) at $18.80
End up our total bill = $150 ! *sob*...cry cry...
