Story : Buying for a deck from an Independent Little Buyer

Received a sms ...from a mother who wish to buy some cards for her son.

"which of the deck has swift blow & approaching sun because i am deciding to buy a deck for my son"

After reading this , i assume that the buyer wants to know which deck have the 2 cards as stated and the parent wants to buy "deck sequence" for her son...So , i reply her that there is 4 decks that have the 2 cards and inform her that our sequence selling price is $50 for 8 decks.


"ok So all decks total to $25. Each decks contains how many cards?" All of them for $25?

Wow !! $25 only for 4 decks...i explain to her that all decks = $50 & that each deck contains 150 cards.


"So if i buy it for 50 dollars my son will have all the cards in animal kaiser ? "
~Buyer

I thinking to myself again...Aiyo...if buyer got all the 8 deck sequence list ...that involved all the cards listed in the animal Kaiser meh ...why she ask this question ? So i replied , "Yes, all cards"

"Can we meet and then give the payment and you give me the decks"
~ Buyer

A deal is ON !! But i was wondering why she say "deck" instead of "sequence"...
I am recommending to her if she like to purchase ultimate , champion or promotion cards as well.

Here is the reply :
"ok could i have both?"
~Buyer

Wow Wow !! both ? She want to buy all ....???

So i explain that it is not 1 or 2 cards but a series full set of some rare cards
I can sold it at a special price

"Full series. Is it for free?"

Wow..wow...Wow !!
If got free ....i also want to grab...haha. then i had to explain again...

this is the last sms i receive from buyer ...that make me nearly fall down from my chair...

"O yeah so you would bring the decks which cost 50 dollars. total there will be 1200 cards which consist of Gold ,Silver and Bronze ,right? "

Wow..wow...Wow ...many times...!! Nearly fainted ..haha



In the end, there is no deal for the 1200 cards...we are selling sequence list ...not whole boxes of card decks leh. haha...i really mis-communicate with the Buyer request..


Closing a deal

We still meet up @ Sembawang the next day. Meeting at Macdonald. they are early and was there 5 min before appointment time. i reach there , go inside restaurant 1 round but nobody call/wave to me...so i walk out of the restaurant and start to call the buyer's handphone number.

Suddenly a little boy come up and just look at me...not speaking any word. A lady standing nearby (inside the restaurant) wave to me ...oh ...this shy boy is our valued customer and he was here with his mother.

When i sit down on the chairs trying to present him our promotion cards album ,the boy keep standiing there. He was nervous and quiet. I invite him to sit down & pass him the swift blow card that he order ... he quickly take out the $ from his wallet to pay. I tell him to relax and choose other promotion cards 1st before we settle any payment. even i told him to safe keep the swift blow strong card 1st , no need to keep holding on his hands.

The mother just smile and look ...and let her son deal everthing by himself , this is a form of training so that this boy can grow up and learn to be indepaendent.

I ask the mother and she replied that this is from his own packet money that he had saved up...and that most of the sms is type by the little boy ...oh..no woder ,alot of funny thing happen during the sms ..haha


He selected a set of 3x WG cards (version 11) and we closed the deal in a happy tone.
This is indeed a very nice mother who is helping her small one to learn and grow up. Good real-life training. the boy smiled when he receive all the nice cards , can sense that he like them alot...Mother is also happy with smile on her face ...as this is yet another GOOD lesson learnt by her son being a independent boy.

Now i understand the true meaning behind this sms message send from the mum ...
"ok i would like to buy them for 50 dollars and ask my son to pay and collect it from you.."

Recalling back, there is another customer (Mr. Yeo) whom speak to me over the phone before that he is also trying to get his boy to be indenpendent. He will look @ forum and keep a certain budget for purchase ...but will not highlight anything to his son. He wanted his boys to initiate & trigger any interesting AK stuffs 1st ..all by themselves. then he will help to follow up from there ...this is how he pre-order our AK mat ...another Great Father giving important lesson to the little ones.

Story : Need to apply permit for organising AK tournament ?

You want to organise a fun AK tournament event with all the attractive prizes to be given out ? Think twice, find out the legal requirement 1st before having any arcade competition in the public. Even renting of the AK machine require some form of documents/Licence approval

This is the same as apply to some private football clubs where they have jackpot, arcade machines..etc being raid by CID/police without having proper licence.

We post it here is to share awareness as its not nice to get anyone into unnecessary trouble for playing a innocent game (animal kaiser).

Play it SAFE !! Anyone attended the last "Licence2Play @ expo" does not mean that now you have Licence to play ! haha...

Blog master do not know the actual legal requirement , so don't ask me for any advise. Just wanted to post here as gossip , that's all. Maybe organiser can check with the Timezone operators for some advise before proceed for the private competition ? You want to book 1 or 2 AK machine for the 2 hours event , it may disrupt their business running... Seek permission and approval 1st is a better choice.

Story : Ask your Mother ...

This funny incident happen 3 weeks ago...now think back also want to laugh ...why i so blur..haha


3 weeks ago ...(lets turn back the time)

I've appointment to meet 2 customers before going back to company.
1st customer meet up @ sembawang who bought about $250 worth of cards from us. We had share with him our rare cards collection albums and we are discussing about Animal Kaiser stuffs...Time fly... i had to bid farewell to him when i know that i still have to rush down to woodlands to meet another small boy customer later on.

I was rushing down because i've somehow overlooked on my timing ...now had to go deal boy customer then "rocket" speed down to working place asap.

Very rushing...no good for customer service ...and end up a joke from me..oh mine !

I reached Woodlands mrt ... but i got not much time to deal ...as i'm going to be late for work....so ,i run down the stairs to meet the boy @ the mrt control station.
He wait outside the gate, i no need go out & just deal him there directly.
He bought a killer whale promotion card for $10.

What happen is that my business Hand phone do not have any caller id, this boy did not sent any sms and he call me directly for card order and arrangement to meet. Hence, i do not have have his actual hp number.

He was with another female who is slightly taller than him ...i did not see how she look like as i'm rushing for time to close deal with the boy.

"Boy, can i have your hp number to keep as a customer base record ?" i ask the boy

This boy also blur ,maybe he also forget his own number somehow. He took out his handphone and try to search around ...Wow !! wasting my precious time leh...every seconds count ! ... next train if i miss...i'll definately be LATE FOR WORK !

Being desperate & fear... I post this question to the lady beside him

"Boy , Maybe your mother can tell us your hp contact ?"

"Hey ! I'm his sister lah .." the female girl replied

WOW !!!!

haha ...what a big difference...how can i mistaken a sister for mother ...haha

So malu ...i quickly apologise to her , take the hp number, thanks them and run back up to the mrt platform ...train just arrive...i made it ! hurray ~ but i was still smiling within my head...haha....Sister ...not equal to Mother...lol

Really embarrass.

Rushing for time = bad customer service . this is what i had learn.
Hope this boy will buy from us again ...

i have let my younger boy 5-6 yrs old played AK tournament twice before, when he’s with fever ....... first-time still okay strong enough to win the timezone champion ...... he almost recover then.

the second time he’s really sick ..... and worst still my older son played until final ... need to carry the little one nearly half an hour or so .....

should have let him rest the second time ....

all i can say now ... you did the right thing. "

Story : BIG Quarrel @ TimeZone

Yesterday @ afternoon time around 3pm , an aunty quarrel with a uncle @ Sembawang Shopping center. Luckily there is no fight but the aunty was very fierce keep pointing her fingers & both of them start raising each other voices.

This is what happen :

There is 2 animal kaiser machines @ arcade and 1 of them is express lane. Both machines also got pple playing and the involved uncle is @ the express lane with his son. There is no one else queue behind him...so he keep on playing non-stop.

Suddenly, a aunty (with her 2 sons) come along. She monitor the situation awhile , check her sequence and know that a special card is coming ! This is deck D - Lowland gorilla & Special Ops leo ~~

But uncle continue to play non-stop , aunty was getting excited that the card may end up with that uncle...so she start to disturb and pester uncle to go ...

This uncle is not a regular to the acrade and we believe that he do not know any card sequence.However, due to the rude comments & kiasu behaviour from the aunty , he also cannnot tolerate it. He shouted back to the aunty that why she so desperate beacause a gold is dropping ? (he pretend & actas if he also know the sequence)

Uncle willing to let the aunty son to play 3 games , then he say he want to play the next 3 games...but the aunty very rude said that she got 2 sons ...so must die die play 6 games in a row... but her the other son run around the place ...did not queue up ....so uncle say she cannot count the other son as he is not in queue...

Both of them start to quarrel inside the acrade , just outside the staff counter. Even got 1 customer there cannot tahan and tell the staff , "Just switch off the power for the machine...all don't play !"

The staff on duty come out trying to explain slowly to the aunty as she is "making for trouble" ...Finally aunty understand and cool down....

Uncle's face become black black & take his son to leave the place.

In the end , the GOLD up ended up with the aunty after all these commotion. If got fighting, sure end up Police case..!!

Really shameful to see adult fighting over rare cards ...typical singaporean ..kiasu !
