"My Kid won the champion 3 times, out of which twice won it by himself (1 entry) and 3rd time won it with help of mommy and dad (3 entry)..
I have spoke to a kid by the name of IAN, at the east zone who have not won a single competition but participated in almost every game. I ask him to increase his chance by asking his mom and dad to play also but his reply was
“I WANT TO WIN IT MYSELF”..
I really respect him !! He has the correct attitude...Keep it up IAN..I hope by now he has won at least once..Anyway even if he doesn't win, He is already a "Champion" !!!
I didnt see him for weeks as i phobit my 7 year old son to play in competition until exam over. "

Story : Invest in cards
"I have told some friends that If you or your kids are a AK fan or you are collectors, why not invest a little bit more for some later version cards.
Note: you dont have to buy these cards from me, can buy from other forumers with reasonable price. Afterall, I am not a card trader, I just sell some extra cards and trying to cover some cost. Profit from selling cards cant even feed my son's pet. He is a rear animal lover who real fishes, fresh water and marine, crabs, lobsters, tortoise, frogs, figting fish, hamsters and grow all sorts of plants.
Get a good set of cards and go for competition, keep the 1st champion as collection and sell the rest. (If you can win more, i think there are people with 3 - 10 winning). Each Champion cards can fetch $100-$150. you will get back your money and still own a set of good cards.
To date, I have spent about $2,000 on cards..that is still consider little compared to dinosaurking $20,000+ (Ver 1 to ver 15, some cant use already as Sin stop at Ver 11), Mushiking $6,000 - $8,000 (Ver 3 - Ver 16)..over the last 3-4years.
At least animal kaiser got tournament. which is more interesting and cards value will stay. Those holding lots of Ver 1 Gold cards still can sell at good value when Singapore machine goes to ver 8-9....

Story : Some Tips on how to win
Tips 1: Probability of Player 1 is higher
I think most of the veteran has realised this also, I have been at the tournament for more than 10 times and observethis: If you are on the same playing field, both player using the same card, say Bengel + 2,5,2 + Meteor Shower. The one sitting at Player one has more chance to win. Some zoneX stick to the rule, but some didn't. So given a chance, try to occupy the player one seat.
Tips 2: Spinning Number Timing
A Japanese friend told me that there is such thing!! Each animal has a secret code, ie the yellow and green number combination. So please find out yourself you are whacking the whole deck of cards.
Tips 3: Cards matching
By now, those who has participated in most of the tournament will realise that why are you defeated by a "weaker opponent". Is it pure due to very suay?
Do take note on the picture on the strong cards and miracle cards. It matters!! Japanese programmer/developer dont print it for fun. If you use a starburst tarantula with a crashing moon with the little bird/eagle u will lose to the one using the crashing moon with the starburst tarantula picture. Try it out yourself. I didn't check the barcode of these 2 crashing moon with different picture.
likewise, the meteor shower in Ver 2 with a tiger face should be stronger(more frequency of miracle) than the one in Ver 1 (lion face). Ver 1 meteor is more suitabel for lion.

There is still an element of luck. I ever use a very wstrong set. Bengel + 444(tiger face)+ Sun approached (gorrilla)- not so right match..but overall very powerful, dont you agree? But i loss to my son's cobolt blue tarantula total power 8,100!!! I only manage to have 1 attack and lose in 2 straight round. Sorry luck cant teach, so pray more loh..

Note:Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre's ZoneX had ceased operation effective 19 Apr 2010.
Blog Master: Actually this is not the main reason lah. There is a lot of factors affecting the management to close down an outlet. However, this incident which happened @ Aug2009 had displayed poor customer service from Toy Payoh's staff. No wonder they cannot make it and end up winding up business.

Only these 4 cards : Siefried , King Cobra ,spiny flower mantis & bronze giant watermelon can fetch good price ...others are zzzZZZ . Not to mention those 13 other bronze cards....$2 ? $3 ? ....*YAWN*
