Mysterious Axolotl (pronounced Ax-oh-lot-ul)

This card appear in animal Kaiser version 10

Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum), the Mexican Salamander. There are fewer than 1,200 ­Mexican ­axolotls left,the axolotl's numbers have been falling for decades.
Their lifespan is 10-15 years & now is facing extinct.


The name "Axolotl" comes from the Aztec language, "Nahuatl". One of the most popular translations of the name connects the Axolotl to the god of deformations and death, Xolotl, while the most commonly accepted translation is "water-dog" (from "atl" for water, and "xolotl", which can also mean dog).
