Demand-Supply

Any first-year commerce student understand the Demand-Supply Curve ... ecomomics basics:-

simple language ....

Demand greater than Supply ..... so many buyers and so few sellers/fisherman .... price goes up.

Supply greater then Demand ..... so many cards and so few buyers ...... price goes down.

Demand equal to Supply ..... equilibrium ... prices stabilised ....

understand the stated principles of economics ... then i relate it to AK sega ... behaviour ...

when new series of AK launched ....

Demand more than Supply

everyone want the cards .... but fisherman still fishing ... and machines takes time to dispense cards .. price goes up.

Demand equal to Supply

after 1-2 weeks everyone got their cards ... and fisherman sold most of the cards .... all happy. prices stablise ....

Supply more than Demand

STUPID FISHERMAN never study ... dun know Demand-Supply curve .... fish fish keep fishing .... no demand ... still keep fishing ... so many cards dun want to keep and certainly cannot eat ....... prices goes down lelong lelong .....

the sharing and selling of the sequence makes things worst .... absolutely no demand .... fish themselves ....

A Logic explaination why some people sell cards while others will buy instead..

Every seller is different, with different agenda.
Can’t compare or blame another party for dropping prices.

Best is dont fish to sell then problem solved.
Fish to get the cards you want then sell off your extras.

To borrow quote from a wise man “Do you really need the money?”
Some seller just want to sell their extra.
They dont need the money.

Some sell because they are addicted to fishing.
Some sell purely to make money.
Your perspective is one which sell for money.

But there are always both sides of the coins.
For a buyer it is good news.
Now almost everyone play with sequence, the means to get the cards are there.
It is whether you want to waste the time at the arcade to wait for the cards and risk being judged.
Or you prefer to spent the money to buy.

More sequence, more fishing, more cards will flood the market, more option for buyer to buy at lower price.
It is a good thing really. Not unles you are a seller who rely on selling AK cards to make a living. Anything motivated by money will spoilt the game. That is when you see adult quarrel over a foil cards *shake head*

Waiting for version 5 .....

looking at the bright side of things ..... V4 cleared faster than usual .... and Arai a very happy man .... Fiesta event, AK Club foundation ... etc.

V5 should be launched in December Festive Seasons ..... and we should get to play the holy series soon, with the new introductory of Cobalt the Shark .... and Holy Elephant, Holy Lion, Mammoth .... to name a few .... Ultimate should be Scorch ...

and the Japan cards i have and should play first hand .... than wait for the third stage of ...... lelong leong .... all thanks to ... those i so called Stupid Fisherman ...... my apology ... we should thank them .... ke ke lols .... joker me.

Story : I Quit selling ...

"Although iam a seller too but i agreed some of yr opinon, actually this incident was happen it recently started from a thread name.. kxxgx , he lower all the AK market prices to the bottom as low as v3 full set with album only 188, & ver4 full set with album 298 plus free starbust.. etc..+++

that will cos those sellers who unable to sell thier cards away, and forcing them to get rid it lower as to clear all their spare cards. but rite now iam not decided to sell any cards at this moment , hope that will help the forum market price stable . thks.

To avoid any complaints i will not be selling any AK cards or set at this moment , will wait until the selling price goes back to normal.. good luck buyers! lol. "

Comment from a non -AK fan about this game..

"remember reading this...many 7-11 outlets now got this game machine called Animal Kaiser installed inside....u play your animal card against the machine and if u win, u get a new animal card. Not sure how much to play per round, but should be at least 50cts or more....by arcade standard since this game is initially installed in arcades....now much more accessible.

An article mentions there's a gamble/jackpot feel to it cos the new card is totally random and many kids play alot just to get some rare cards. Some parents are worried while some said they accompany their kids, so it's ok."

Comments response :

Haven’t animals been treated as ‘mere objects of brutal sport’ for centuries? If Mr Liew is such a crusader for animal rights, perhaps he should direct his energies towards banning cock and cricket fighting in China where animals actually suffer instead of making a fuss about some fanciful epilepsy-inducing bits and pixels.

As silly and ‘misrepresenting’ as some of the Animal Kaiser battles are (Elephant vs Stag Beetle, Eagle vs Narwhal Shark..on land!), there’s nothing wrong with animals being portrayed as ‘killing machines’, unless your idea of the Animal kingdom is the Mandai Zoo. Nature is a bloodthirsty bitch, as any animal documentary on okto channel would tell you, red in tooth and claw. Hell, you may even think Frogger is a violation of amphibian rights. In fact, being crushed by a vehicle is a worse death than any of the signature finishing moves in Animal Kaiser.

Other than turning kids into violent adults and adults into violent kids, the game’s card trading business could also turn them into gambling addicts, apparently.

Operating hours are from 12pm to 3am on weekends, and 12pm to 12am on weekdays.

In September, regular tournaments will kick off which is co-organised by the local Animal Kaiser community. Solo and Team categories tournaments will be held monthly, culminating in an annual grand tournament for Solo participants. There is a leader board in the store which will rank the monthly tournament winners, counting towards seeding for the grand tournament. Prizes for these tournaments will include exclusive tournament kits of special cards and box sets, which cannot be obtained elsewhere.

Animal Kaiser was first launched in Singapore in June 2009 and currently there are over 200 Animal Kaiser machines in Singapore. I was fascinated to learn that Animal Kaiser has an educational element using real world animals to teach children about the animal kingdom in a fun and enjoyable way. Every animal in the game is based on actual data and facts. Furthermore, players scan their “animal” game-cards to play as their animal avatars in the machine. Scanning “Strong” cards and “Miracle”cards enable them to boost their avatar’s abilities and endow them with special attacks. Upon completion of each session, the machine dispenses a card. The more you play, the more cards you get to collect.

The back of the Animal Cards

I was told that the game is meant for people of all ages from as young as 3 to as old as 80. Animal Kaiser is a game that involves parents and children as they pair of well together. Some of the parents I met at the media event are also organizers of some of these tournaments. They are all parents of children who play the game often and also participate in tournaments. They were all very well versed with the game and show a lot of passion in bringing together families because of the educational and family bonding nature of the game.

I was give the chance to try my hand at the game, but being a terrible gamer, I decided to give it a miss and not embarrass myself. I watched on as other more adventurous members of the media played the game.
