Story : A hardcore "Leopard" supporter who decides to quit AK

"As I said, I quit this game because I find it unfair. I would like to know what people think about this game, I’ll say what I think about it.

My quitting reason:

THE GOOD :
I feel that this game is really enjoyable and it also includes a card after every game, The cards describtion is quite accurate. Many animal are included (though some like Giraffe, Horse, Zebra and Okapi aren’t).
It teaches many people about animals as well as let them be fascinated by many animals because animals are just simply interesting! It let the children of this generation have intrest in animals, Which is one good thing.

THE BAD :
This game is really bias(No offense intended). I feel that this game is suited to the creator’s liking, Any gold animal get even more perfect skills and power such as silver strong and miracle cards. However, normal animals will almost never be use and they are only accompined by weak stong and miracle cards, These are extremely unfair, All animals deserve their glory, Even Mushiking low power animal have high skills and a foil super skill card which enable them to be almost as good as the gold beetles with the correct skills.Same goes for Dinosaur King and many other game, They should at least give lower animal a better advantage but no, All gold get better stong and miracle, Don’t forget, These are real non-fictional characters, Animals are created to survive but this game only lets thier favourite gets all the power. Dosen’t anyone think is a little bit of animal abuse or animal violence(No offense intended again).
At least weaker animals should be given a better strong and miracle card that foil cannot use.

THE WORST :
I don’t see why Leopard, The only member of the Panthera family to not even get foil, Look at the tiger and Lion, They are at a level higher than gold, If you did not realised that, Lion dominate the game, Nobody will have a non foil favourite animal and majority of them are all Lion/Tiger.1 or 2 gold Lion is enough,but there is that Special Oops Leo,White Lion, Red Lion, Champion Master Lion,Champion Master Leo and so many of the same species. While animals that deserve these ranks are not even given one position, eg Leopard.

It can carry a prey 3 times it’s weight up a tree, More than twice of that of a lion, It is the only one that is out of threatened zone, Ask Lion and Tiger which are in that zone (Wikipedia).It has a rare skill which allows it to climb to the thin branches of the tree, Swin in a crocodile infested water and kill them! and Snow Leopard could live in the harshest enviroment, up in the Himalayas and could jump 15 meters far. Such a good animal is stripped of a chance to shine, Don’t anyone think it’s a pity. While Lion/Tiger,All Foil, Even their cubs get foil (At least give leopard a gold lah).

But no, Not even one of the 3 leopards get foil. While I think this game loves their animals that they give gold and make others look down on them, I even heard rude comments when I saw someone got a Leopard such as : Worthless animal. Why did you even exists

Bald Eagle is weaker than an Andean Condor which could live for 70 years and has a wingspan as long as 3.4m. Yet, Not only did Bald Eagle got a gold and a bronze pup, Now there is a metallic gold one.
Great White Shark is just a moderate prey to the orcas, The true king of the sea, Yet orca got bronze while another gold metallic shark appears, This really hurts an animal fan.

Others like Red Scorpion, Hercules Beetle, King Cobra is ok, But don’t be too over bias to the animal the creators like so many Lion and Tigers. Leopard are really cool animals but get less to no respect because of this (no offense again but this is true). Other animals that are good also cannot stand out because all the focus are given to the gold rare animals. Don’t forget ,These are really living in our world and not some fictional character.

More animals that are worth it are getting disrespected, every animals have their own rights and skill,But somehow all those rank goes to their favourites. Don’t believe it, Ask yourselves, What is your favourtie animal, I’ll bet it’s a gold card, Fav bird? another gold, Fav marine creature, Another gold.

My points is that many animal deserve a chance to stand instead of over top 10 positions goes to Lion and Tiger(Land), 2 or 3 gold is enough for them. I’m not asking much, i just wish to have a gold Golden Leopard or a King Cheetah to continue collecting, After all, Aren’t Leopard and Cheetah famous? But not getting less respect. I study animals, In the real world, Leopard developed the genes to survive better than it’s rivals and go all over the globe, Sharks are declining and giving way to the Orcas (Pls don’t tell me for Shark Fin ) and many thing is the world are changing but children are giving many animals that deserve it lesser respect. At least let the silver/bronze strong and miracle cards have the normal animal picture on it.

Don’t believe it, Ask yourself, What is you favourite animal before animal kaiser and what is your favourite animal after animal kaiser, I’m pretty sure it’s the lion now and something else once (No offense)

Look at the size of the Andean Condor which is so rare that it has only been discovered in the 1950s.Thus not much popularity.Don’t forget, lifting 20 kg up into the sky with 10 foot long wings isn’t easy.

Pls don’t get my idea wrong, I don’t hate this game but I feel that these animals have their own rights and strengths but are wrongly placed. They should at least have some advantage. Because 1 eagle or shark at gold is enough, But now there are like 4 each! Not to be rude or offensive but I don’t think Animal Rights will accept this as even my will for animals are not even close as their will. (Apologise if this sounds offensive.

So could you tell me how they classify the animals?

Strength : eg :Gorilla Lion,Tiger .But animal like Bears and Leopard have strength, even more than a Lion or Tiger.

Size/Weight ; Lion Tiger Gorilla ; Andean Condor/ Killer Whale, Bears are even larger than Eagle and Sharks.

Fame : Lion, Tiger : Leopards and Cheetah are also famous too.

FYI, A tiger can only carry prey twice it’s weight and a Lion can only drag a prey twice it’s weight, Leopards can carry a prey 3 times it’s own weight up a tree, So therefore Leopard are the strongest.

They do not need to invent so many buttons, They should just stop being bias to Bald Eagles, Lion, Tiger,GWShark and many animals that they(the creator) like by giving them more gold positions that could be given to other animal.Not to mention, most of the gold animal did not even exist : Eg : Holy Lion(White Lion does though),Red Lion,Metal gold things. Other animals deserve them too.


We should teach them the real facts, and for a reason, Many children favourite animal is Lion and Tigers because they are influenced by this game, Trust me, If they made a Gold Leopard/ Cheetah or something that is equally famous and attracts childern more, their favourite animal would change. And no, Lion may be fiercer but they are not as strong as Leopards. According to experts, Tiger will probably be extinct in a few centuries (unless we save them,and we better should) and Lion will live be extinct before Leopards. Childern only think that many of the animals that are pro in this game is the top in real life when it is actually not/almost.


And don’t get me wrong but I’m not fighting with kids over my favourite animal, I’m fighting for the rights of animals, Why give so many foil position to them when there are other animals better or as good as them than them but not given any foil position. At least silver strong or miracle cards should have a normal animal on but all are gold.


Leopards, Cheetah, Bears and many other animals are famous too, But the creators only game them normal positions and all the foil positions goes to animals that ore of those genre(GWS,Lion,Tiger,BEagle) but never even existed at all. I and many of my friends just feel that some animals should have a higher position. Pls understand that I’m not being bias to the animal I like, I just feel that many other animals are not getting well respected, because I heard comments like ‘worthless animal’ and ‘why did you even exists’. It really hurts me, my freinds and many animal lovers in the world. After all, these are real living characters, not fictional characters.


I’m an true animal fan,and a student studing biology/zoology, I’m not trying to discourage you from playing. It will take a while before I get over it. And me and my friends only collect again if I see a Gold Leopard, And btw incase you don’t know, I’ve quit already. If you get what i mean We just feel that some animals are getting bad reputation and others getting overly good reputation in a bias way is unfair. Imagine classifying yourself into a low class zone that no one will ever want, That hurts right,but this is how many animals that are look down upon are feeling(if they are human)

CONCLUSION :
I hope that if the creators are looking at this, They would stop being bias to their favourites and give other animals a chance instead of different Lions/Tiger/Shark/Eagle. All animals are made equally to try to survive, I believe that Animal Rights will also feel annoyed by this. Lastly I hope to see a Gold Rare Leopard, They really deserve it. I just wish that the creators would STOP BEING SO BIAS AND GIVE OTHERS ANIMALS A CHANCE."

"This is a children’s game. Ask any child, what is the strongest or fiercest cat. Answer is always Lion and Tiger! Same for Bird, Eagle is the answer, they do not know of falcon or condor. And in the sea? Sharks!!

Well the children gets to play their favourite Cats, Eagle and Sharks in GOLD. My children are happy so i am happy too Adult?? well hehehe why are you fighting with the kids over your favourite animal??

Interesting read.. but a good laugh too. A game targeting at children is just a game for children. Its pure marketing base on popularity of different animal appealing to kids. There are some good learning from the info from these cards too. Just play for the fun of it that is all. Anyway i love animals, have a degree in Zoology and is mature enough to understand what you are trying to say.. But my point is rest the case, people here are here just for the game or the lucrative card business. "

But in the grand scene of things, all things are bias and in that sense, it is fair.

"..to the writer of ak-sg blog, I not a die hard Leopard fan, We just feel that these animals(not just leopard) have their own rights and strengths.Well, Since i quit already, I shouldn’t bother about it anymore, I’ve just gotten a little emotional yesterday since i just realised it. But still i feel that the top4 should not get too many foil but they deserve to be at where they are, Just not too many which can be given to other animals that deserve them too."

A Special Present from Animal Kaiser

Last week, IAHGames received an unusual request. The mother of a very young Animal Kaiser fan contacted us and requested for an Animal Kaiser poster. It was to be a birthday present for her son. So we thought: here’s a story to tell!

Daphne is the doting mother of AK player Jonah, who is only 3 years old! She lets us in on the current AK craze and their family’s AK playing habits…


What motivated you to ask for a present for your son?


I knew that Jonah will definitely be happy with any AK merchandise. Thanks for the poster! It’s proudly hanging in his room now.

How did your family get into AK?


My son LOVES AK. He used to just stop and watch the older kids play the game, and would get really excited about all the animals. One day I decided to let him try to play it and he's been hooked since. And since he loves it so much, naturally I have to learn the game so I can help him play.

It's quite simple… just press the green button followed by the yellow button. I try to help him strategize which cards to combine and use.

Are you an avid collector of AK cards too, like most die-hard players?


We started out not too long ago – just January this year. So far we have around 100 cards, from Versions 2 and 3.

What do you all like about AK?


My son likes collecting all the cards, and he gets really excited when he adds a new card to his collection. And I just like seeing my son happy :)

In your view, why has AK become such a big hit in this region?


I think the kids like the thrill of collecting the cards, the anticipation of getting one of the bronze/silver/gold cards, and the satisfaction of completing the set. It’s essentially a very good card game, but instead of dueling cards on a table, you use a cool machine with fantastic visuals.

Do you get strange stares or comments from playing AK? After all it’s a game for kids.


No! Many parents bring their children to play on the AK game machines. Some parents simply leave their children there with a bag-full of coins. Others sit and play with their kids. But sometimes people get overboard due to their passion for AK, which leads to ugly, aggressive behaviour like hogging the machines or queue-cutting…




It's a matter of discipline. I only let my son play AK on the weekends and only a few games (3-5). It's just a fun pastime, and shouldn't compromise children's schoolwork or behaviour. Yes, Jonah wants to play everyday, but I have to set limits. The same thing applies to any pastime or hobby.

Do you use your son’s interest in AK to educate him?


Yes! He can recognize the animals by their names and learn some of the animals’ characteristics. It helps that the AK animals behave like their real counterparts. So Jonah is actually learning about real animals!
