I met him in a video arcade, and he's 15 years older



Sally got to know her boyfriend at the arcade and the most surprising thing about their relationship is that he is 15 years older than her.

She recounted:

"Boy-girl relationships isn’t as great for me as what I used to think and after times many heart-breaking relationships, I’ve lost my faith in them.

"Until one day, I met him in a video gaming arcade. I was playing a game named Jubeat when this guy appeared behind me and started commenting on my score.

“'If you get another 2 perfect. You’ll get an ‘S’ grade!'

"I continued my game and when I turned around, I saw him smiling at me. This prompted me to chat further with him and yes, that was when our friendship began and believe it or not and we exchanged emails and it turned out that he given a wrong one with a misspelled letter. Luckily we exchanged numbers.

"We started hang out together and it feel as though we clicked very well.

"We can chat about almost anything and everything. We share common interest and we both love cats.

"I realized the way he looks at me is far different from other normal guys so that night; I popped this question to him online:

"'You like me right?'

He paused, and replied 'maybe'

A few months later, he confessed that he really likes me. A guy who is 15 years older than me fell in love with me? How can that be?

"And never did I expect that, a few weeks later, I would fall in love with this guy who is 15 years older than me.

"Most importantly, it was as though we did not have this 15-year gap between us.

"His humor, his gentleness and his selfless attitude attracted me. What was stopping us from being together despite of the strong chemistry?

"My ex-boyfriend is very violent and possessive towards me, even after we had broken up.

"In those years, he’s always aggressive towards people who wanted to court me and I’ve got no choice but to reject my boyfriend’s love on me.

"It was a painful decision. But in order to protect myself as well as my boyfriend, I had to do it.

"Despite repeated rejections by me, my boyfriend carried on showering his gentle love on me just waiting for the day I would say 'I do' and because of his determination, I was moved.

"One peaceful night at the Esplanade, he asked 'when will you accept me as your official boyfriend?' I hugged him senselessly, and told him, 'I Love You.'

"Our relationship started, but that’s not the end of the story.

"On my birthday party, I invited my friends.

"I hid our relationship and kept it as a secret.

"Soon my ex-boyfriend sensed something was wrong and questioned me. He wanted me to go back to him and stop contacting my boyfriend.

"Decisions have to be made within a week and my boyfriend remained painfully silent and let me make my own decisions.

"In the end, I chose to be with him.

"I know he do not wish to see me cry, neither does he want to see me frown, all he wants is my smile. My brightest smile.

"His selfless attitude made me fall in love with him. He is my brightest star. My one and only love.

"And he is none other than my love. I love you darling."
