Story : i had make police report....

this incident happen last few days ...to myself...

Received a phone call from a kid who mention he wants to buy Version 4 card sequence. I asked him for his name ...he paused for about 3-5 seconds...then reply : "Yong Tai" (not sure of i remember this name correctly ?)

He asked how much i sell the sequence ?

Since it is > 1 mth from Version 4 official launch now...i kept my promise as mention in the forum earlier that our price will drop from $75 to $50 after 1 month.
So ...i told him ....its for $50 ...he say will call back again later and put down the phone call. However, i sense something wrong as the boy sound nervious when he talked to me over the phone ...and i could not understand why he took so long to tell me his real name ....

10 minutes later...my handphone rang again

It was a mother who called me ,she speak in chinese laungauge. She ask me what is sequence lsiting ? So i explain to her slowly thinking that she might be a newbie or another parent who just need more information to know more abt this AK gaming.

She started to raise her voice asking me why i sold so expensive ...and that her son had STOLEN her $ to buy the sequence from us...

Wow !! A kid stole his mum's money ?? This is serious ...

I try to clam the mother down by speaking softly over the phone trying to ask her what is her boy's name ? She do not wants to tell

I ask her which mrt station did the deal took place...trying to narrow down the guess to any speciic customers... she also do not share

This mother shouted that her son bought from us $50 and she already make a police report to charge against blog master . She mentioned that i am going around trying to cheat little children money forcing them to buy sequence at high price . she added a last comment saying that she know the boss of a arcade and had told them about me being a cheating seller ...

Before she could continue to brag...non-stop ...i just reply this statement :

"Aunty , this is misunderstanding ....i will talk to the police should they call me to report to the police station.." then i put down the phone

What the heck ?? How come this mother can accuse me being a cheater ? Yes ,its true that we had sold many sets of ver4 sequence ....usually we sold them at $75 ...excpet 2 special case where we sold to 2 different kids at $70. I can remeber that our last deal is to the boy who bought @ $60 (refer to the title " smart Buyer ,Stupid Seller" story) ...and this is the lowest we had go so far ....we had not even sold any at $50 yet ! We do understand that this mother is very upset about her son stealing $$$ ....but i am very clear that her son did not buy from us ...because we had not close any $50 deal yet ...so it should be from other sellers ...but unfortunately , i was being accursed somehow...maybe the previous call from the boy wanted to get the information and make me as a scrap goat !

until today ....we had not receive anymore phone call from the boy "Yong Tai" ,the angry mother or the Police ...Maybe its better to deal with adults for all our future dealings from now onward ? ....rather than having any dealing anything with kids... tooo much unnecessary trouble ...*sign*
